Cross Stitches...

I thought I would share with you some of my cross stitches that have done over the years.

The first one I did is "Home Sweet Home" and who would of thought that I would have bought a house just like that!!  This one is on the wall in my sitting room.

The next one is "Antique Bear Collectibles"  You would think that I would have started off small but the ones that I loved were all very detailed.  This one is on the wall in my bedroom.

The latest one that I am doing is "Country Bloomers".  This has been in the process for quite a few years, which I am embarrassed to say, all I have left to do is the outline and then I will be finished.  I just have to get myself in the mood to do it...nearly there!

Another one that I have done is a long stitch which is of an old homestead. This one is on the wall in the sitting room as well.

Can you see the link with them all.....that I love old, country and antiques!!

Have you done any cross stitches?

Enjoy your day!
xx

  1. Lovely cross stitches. Cross stitch was my first craft addiction. I don't do it as much as I used to but I still find it really relaxing to do. I like the bigger sampler style patterns best.

  2. They're lovely. I have done many cross stitches - if you go way down my blog on the right hand margin you'll come across BLOG LABELS - go down to Cross Stitch and there are 12 posts in all about them. I haven't sat still long enough to do cross stitch for quite some time. I used to do it when my babies were sleeping.

  3. Ah your cross stitches are really beautiful! I preferred doing smaller ones only the last few years my eye sight was not that good. And lack of time was another problem. Mostly knit and crochet ATM

  4. I so love the Home Sweet Home one, I really like those. I can't do cross stitch,I have tried but always end up counting wrong and the picture ends up all over the place. I started a bowl of daffodils once,as I won the kit. It started off lovely and really did look like the picture, but something happened, I don't know what and the next few flowers looked like yellow blobs. So I gave up and gave it away to an 11yr old to finish :)

You have a real talent for it Well done they are all lovely xx
